The first step in your eBook cover design is to decide what you truly want to accomplish with your design. For most of us we just want as many sales as possible and that's what the focus of this site is. How we go about this is a three step process. First, we figure out our target market. Second, we research what appeals to them. And finally, we create an eBook cover design that not only represents our e-book but hits our target market's hot buttons. Easy as pie isn't it.

First, who is your target market? Well that depends on what your eBook is about. If you are writing about "how to make money" then your market covers many demographics. If you are writing about weight loss then your market is 90% women of a particular age. I you have a hunting guide then you are appealing to men of certain age and economic background. This is the key to your marketing efforts. Once you focus in on your target market you can begin to formulate your sales plan. Sometimes your target market is not who you intended to target in the first place. That scenario, however, is for another discussion.

Second, what appeals to your target market? Well the internet is full of research tools to help you in this area. In fact, you may use this information to upsell or even market different products to them down the road. One such tool is Alexa. How you use Alexa is that you put in the websites that dominate your niche and look at what else their traffic searches for and what other websites they visit. You then use that information for future marketing efforts and/or choosing graphics for your eBook cover design.

Once you know what appeals to your target market you can now start collecting photos, graphics and headlines. Your research should include what your competitors are doing, especially the really big ones. You can then emulate their ebook cover design layouts, colors, headlines etc. to create your own ebook cover. If you need help putting the pieces together you should watch the ebook cover tutorial. You'll learn how to extract graphics, layer them, and create effects and the like. You will learn everything you possible need to create awesome looking ebook covers. This stuff is so flexible you can make minor variation to split test your ebook covers to see which one sells best. For more info visit

But putting together the first album can be one of the most wasteful, expensive, adventures if it is not handled correctly. I am aware of many artists whose first album is still sitting in their living room waiting to be sold four years after manufacturing. Click here for more info see here.

So what are the three key elements to ensure album success (financial and fan satisfaction)?

A well-known producer: a well-known producer from your genre who has connections within the industry and is well respected is one of the key ways to enduring success. While this will come at a price the musician/artist should seek to save money in other aspects of the business and not compromise in this area. Let's be honest, no matter the genre that any musician/artist is involved there are hundreds of releases of that type of music annually and the question to be asked is "how are you going to stand out"? This point is so important that the reason new artists tend to originate from the same label is that once a producer has been established, the industry will look to the person for more of the same. In addition, a successful, well-known producer is a better bet than a new, untested music maker!

At least three great, original songs: I recently spoke to a producer who has had various hits in the UK and US under the name "Ethnic Boyz" and he explained that many of the songs being played on radio today will not be played in five years' time because they are what he called "fast food songs. "Songs are what makes an album successful and you really need to analyze your capabilities, especially in the beginning. How well do your songs measure up to those who are the leaders within your genre? That should be the target, not merely putting some words together like Rebecca Black and hoping you can pass them off to ill informed fans. Fans are much more sophisticated than artists give them credit for. Although it is difficult to have all great songs on an album, it is important to go for co-writing or letting someone write the songs and reach a financial arrangement rather just releasing what we like because our songs will be measured against the market leaders!

At least two cover versions: Why covers? Covers are memorable and many covers are already great songs. Covers will be attractive to the establishment because they already know the song. Many artists, including one of the best selling albums of our time, "I Dreamed a Dream" by Susan Boyle which has sold over nine million copies has at least three covers on it. Many artists cover songs by a great singer. Why? Because it works and adds credibility to a new album. If you do a great job on covers it can be the cheapest way to publicize a new musician/artist. Comparable to buying a car, a house or any other long-standing item for your life, buying a new mattress requires a lot of careful consideration. Few people, however, realize just how complicated the mattress buying process really is. They take the word of the salesman, use the feel of a mattress on the showroom to make their purchasing decision, or worst of all, they assume that all mattresses are pretty much the same and only their pocket books are considered during the purchasing process. Click here to learn more about voila mattress review.

Sadly, those that fail to recognize the importance of buying the right mattress end up wasting a lot of money and being very unhappy. Like buying a car that only works for a couple of months, it is an investment that turns out to be more of a nightmare than anything. This nightmare results in lost hours of sleep, aches, pains and restless nights. This can affect your concentration, mood and health.

So how do you avoid being one of those unfortunate victims? For starters, you take a moment to understand just how important purchasing the right mattress really is. You then abandon all thoughts that more money means better quality. While this line of thinking might be true for a lot of things in life, it definitely isn't true when it comes to buying the right mattress. Finally, you take the time to utilize a very helpful online tool - mattress reviews.

What You Need to Know About Mattress Review Sites

Mattress reviews are designed to help consumers in their mattress buying decision. You should know, however, that not all mattress review sites are truly helpful. Because of this, you will need to be able to tell the difference between a sales page for mattresses (which is what bad mattress review sites really are) and a good mattress review site.

A good mattress review site will use real data from real customers. They will also use a variety of methods to rate or review the mattresses on their site - mattress complaints, mattress warranties, etc. You should also be wary of any sites that seem to only list the positive factors of the mattresses on their site. Most of all, if you find a site that has a lot of spelling errors or sentences that just don't make sense, look elsewhere for mattress information.

How to Use Mattress Reviews

Before using mattress reviews, head over to your local mattress store. Get an idea of what mattress models you might be interested in. Try to come up with at least three or four. Know the prices of each model. Then, walk away - as hard as it may be, walk away. Now go home and use the mattress reviews to find out what you can about the mattresses you were thinking of buying. Look at all aspects of the mattress - its review, its rating when compared to other mattresses, any complaints registered for the mattresses, the warranty of each mattress and the price.

Once you have narrowed the field to two mattresses, head back to the mattress store. Check each one out again. Do you still feel as strongly about them as you did in the beginning? Is one of the mattresses on sale? Could you reasonably live with the cheaper mattress? Once you feel like you have made a decision, go home and sleep on it. By that time, you should have had plenty of time to weigh all of your options and make a final decision. For more info visit mattress reviews.

Many consider cotton sheets to be the gold standard when it comes to bedding. Today you will find 100% bamboo sheets are becoming almost as popular as cotton. Bamboo is a soft and luxurious material which can rival many cotton sheets. Along with this comfort, there have been a number of studies conducted in various countries showing that bamboo has antibacterial and antimicrobial properties which can prove beneficial, especially those with allergies or sensitive skin. Click here to learn more about Bamboo sheets.

Bamboo sheets are believed to have antibacterial characteristics as well as anti-fungal properties. Bamboo fiber is naturally mildew and mold resistant, a quality many believe is carried forward when the bamboo fiber is woven into luxurious linens. Bamboo contains a natural agent called "bamboo kun" which prevents bacteria and fungus from growing on it.

The Federal Trade Commission has prohibited manufacturers and sellers of bamboo products from making claims of antimicrobial or antibacterial properties of bamboo products. They do concede that bamboo is antimicrobial in its original state. However, there are a number of studies that have been done in multiple countries that have scientific results showing that bamboo cloth does possess these properties.

Many studies have demonstrated bamboo to be hypoallergenic. It does not irritate the skin and cause rashes as other fabrics may. So if you're a person with sensitive skin and has gotten a rash or had an allergic reaction to your bedding, 100% bamboo sheets might just be what you are looking for. In 2003, the China Industrial Testing Center (CTITC) completed a quantitative antibacterial test on a piece of 100% bamboo fabric. They placed a bacterial strain type staphylococcus aurous on the fabric. After a twenty-four hour period, the live bacteria were counted. The results showed that the bamboo fabric exhibited a 99. 8% antibacterial kill rate.

Another study was conducted by the Japan Textile Inspection Association (JTIA). A quantitative test used 100% bamboo fabric. Pieces of bamboo cloth were washed industrially fifty times. The bamboo pieces were then covered with a strain of live staphylococcus. After a twenty-four hour incubation period, a count on the live bacteria was done. Their results demonstrated that the samples of cloth maintained a more than 70% antibacterial efficiency rate, after being laundered fifty times. A 2009 Utah State University Extension study, the Case Study on Athletes Foot was carried out by Clothing and Textiles Specialist, Karen Biers. Fifty athlete's foot sufferers wore socks made from bamboo. Within one to two days after the test's inception, all test subjects reported that the burning and itching associated with the malady had ceased. And, the blisters and sores from the athlete's foot had cleared up and the skin returned to normal, within two to six days.

It would appear that even though the Federal Trade Commission prohibited antibacterial and anti-fungal claims by bamboo textile manufacturers and distributors regarding their bamboo sheets, there does appear to be some evidence supporting the antibacterial and antimicrobial claims by scientific studies.
